There were unfortunately more cons than pros
- a lot of layoffs
-upper management did not have any slight idea how the product worked and they made decisions based on false or irrelevant information
- very bad communication, teams didn't know what other teams did, and they blame each other for issues that appear
-also middle management had no idea what they were doing, sometimes I pity them as they had no power to change or say anything to the senior stakeholders
-it doesn't offer you any opportunity to grow; in my team at least, in my time there was 1 lead role open and the person that got it wasn't really based on merit
A lot of nepotism, this al also because the policy of the firm is to hire based in recommendation, so everyone is a friend of a friend, there were also a lot of couples, not like there is something bad, but this opened the door for a lot of drama, gossip and nepotism
