Pros
Working any new job is a terrifying leap but this job makes it worth it! -I love the salary because on those random low patient days my pay is not impacted! -The job also provides the flexibility I need to leave early, come in late, or leave in the middle of the day to go to my appointments without having to take PTO. -I have had two medical emergencies one personal and one family one, leaving me out of work twice for several weeks and both times I felt nothing but support from the company which has built a lot of loyalty from me. -I love that patients treatment addresses the mental health but also the medical with constant communication with the psychiatrist on our team and the doctor. -I was able to effortlessly get my LCSW with the constant supervision and support available. -There is amazing work life balance in this model of seeing patients once a month you can establish great boundaries that allows you to leave work on time stress free. -Though it seems isolating working in a clinic without other therapists your coworkers become the doctors and MAs so it is not isolating at all and you get endless support from your managers!

You have to be able to either concurrently document or be able to end sessions exactly at 45 minutes every single session otherwise you will fall behind quickly. I started concurrently documenting when I started here and leave work daily with my notes being completed and in two years have never been behind on my notes which is so freeing when I use to be weeks behind on notes at previous jobs. If you take PTO then you should expect not to meet your productivity that month which will keep you from hitting your quarterly goals preventing you from getting bonuses. Other than the months you take a week off, the bonuses and productivity is attainable!
