Pros

If needed just money with less work(Because no work at all) but with cost of slaps on every step you take.

* Company running by Bluff Master & Ego Master. * None of the employees get there bonus offered as well as stocks(Fake). * Worst culture (Please stay at home and do time pass with your dog. At least your dog will show some respect with its tail). * No team outs ( Dinner is the team out: Note non office hours is mandatory) * All positive reviews were posted with force to over come the negative reviews. * People getting in were exponentially less than people leaving(Note: strength is less than 20(NO PF as a proof))

The company culture is: Be a better version of yourself today than you were yesterday. To elaborate: we continuously strive to improve as an individual and as a group that is why we have a culture of following the best practices. Many have stated that in the reviews here (even the negative ones :)) that the work is exciting and challenging. Some have failed to measure up to the challenge and end up here on Glassdoor often due to poor abilities, unprofessionalism and work ethics. A classic example is this review that is not providing any substantial evidence but just oozing frustration. To rebuttal all the false statements made in this review. a) Please look up any startup offers : The review mentioned that the "software Engineer" stayed for less than an year which is why you will not get bonus and Stocks (due to one year cliff). Startups encourage you to be with the company for a long period of time so you get the benefits b) The company culture is already mentioned above. We practice transparency. At monthly all hands meetings we discuss the path we are on in terms of engineering, sales, growth and how it is aligned with the company's vision. Each piece of information is accessible to everyone. c) We want to be safer than sorry during COVID times and not have team outings. It's unfortunate that during this "software engineer's" time we had to practice WFH d) There are balanced reviews here. (both positive and negative) and we take extra effort to fix the negative comments immediately. e) We are proud that many at the company are still continuing with us since our inception and that speaks volumes about the engineering, the culture and the employee faith. Suggestion to the "software engineer" who has written this : Be honest in your words that you write here and we will appreciate it. We are here to build a great Edge AI company that can compete with the best of the companies in the world. You can join us, build it and share the success. We accept there are certain flaws and we work hard to keep improving ourselves

> Interesting and exciting projects with great scope for learning various cutting edge technologies in computer vision, deep learning and software engineering > Trains you to be a self-starter who can work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision and own the solution end to end > Encourages and promotes research work as long as deliverables are met > Founders are well reputed in the areas of computer vision and machine learning and offer good feedback/mentor-ship

> Fast paced environment where one has to pick up the required skills and implement quickly. So high learning curve initially.

Pros

As an intern, it isn't expected that you work on projects that have real, immediate impact on applications the company is developing, but that's exactly what you get at edgetensor. The work is rewarding, and I was able to learn more than I could have imagined in my time there. Upper level management is hard working and very competent, and I expect the company will do very well going forward.

Kontras

The hours are long, but that is to be expected at any start up. Because the company has offices in two continents (India and US), meetings do have to happen at odd hours. As the work does have real impact on the company's future, the employee has some level of expectation coming in, that they will be able to get the job done and overcome issues that will inevitably come up in a timely manner.
