Pros

Above average pay, low cost for benefits, generous vacation time, lots of free food and snacks. Company has grown fast and improvements are needed with processes and systems which creates opportunity (if you're on the right team).

Kontras

Matrix management structure of the company creates conflict among teams. Priorities assigned by my direct boss were not priorities for the team I supported. Interpersonal conflicts developed causing breakdowns in communication and productivity. Above average turnover, especially after bonuses.

Pros

Enjoyable experience, developers will help each other out. Willing to share code and review it. Flex time, full-time employees work from home one day a week. Take home laptops. IT management all have technical backgrounds.Deployment lunches every quarter.

Kontras

Requirements from the Business were often incomplete or vague. Not enough regression testing being done which results in errors showing up that should have been caught in Development and QA.
