As a software engineer, I found eGain’s engineering culture to be outdated and uninspiring. There’s a lack of trust from management, with constant micromanagement and little room for innovation or autonomy. Engineers are treated like ticket-solvers rather than product contributors. If you want to grow as a developer, this is not the place.
