Pros

Remote work that allows you to work from home

The pay is very low compared to the amount of work needed to keep offices on. We are required to work very long hours but if you clock in all the hours you work thats not good. How is that working? We are doing lifesaving work for dental offices but being paid less than minimum wage, that is not right.

Our goal is to create an environment where team members can succeed while continuing to deliver high-quality service to the dental practices we support. To clarify, hourly employees at eAssist are always required to accurately clock all of their work time and are paid at least minimum wage for that time. If commissions in a given period do not exceed hourly rates, employees are still paid at least the applicable minimum wage. Employees also do not pay employer payroll contributions or taxes. We understand that employees can have compensation questions and that individual experiences can vary depending on office mix and workload, and we encourage team members with questions or feedback about pay, hours, or payroll matters to reach out to our People Services team so they can review the situation directly. If you are self-motivated and care about doing meaningful work, eAssist gives you room to grow and make an impact. I have been given real autonomy to build systems, improve processes, and contribute to leadership conversations. Ideas are taken seriously. I don’t feel like a number here. The culture values trust, integrity, and servant leadership. When you show up consistently and take ownership, you are seen. There is flexibility in the remote structure, but it is not a “clock in and hide” environment. You are trusted to lead your work and deliver results. For me, that has been energizing and deeply rewarding. I’ve also been impressed with the benefits. In addition to strong medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, there are wellness programs available through our insurance carrier. I participated in Omada and it genuinely helped me rethink how I measure progress and success in my health. It wasn’t just information. It was accountability and coaching that felt practical and supportive. That kind of investment says a lot about how the company values its people.
