Like most academic institutes, the Danforth center is mostly transitory for research employees that are completing advanced degrees or fulfilling postdoctoral fellowships. It can be hard to be a long time employee.

-May have to work extra hours, with no pay, to keep up with the demand of research, but it depends on each lab's requirements
