I believe I was treated differently than other team members because I was a mother. I wil(I will note my experience was specific to the department in which I worked; not true for other colleagues on other teams.)In an unrelated incident, the president of the company raised their voice at me and was asked by HR to leave the room as a result. People are promoted and given titles because they have longevity at the agency, not because of merit or ability to lead.
