Pros

Great lower level designers/programmers who are talented and have a desire to learn. Cod for breaks is also a big plus.

Kontras

Politics! No respect for workers! NO CREATIVITY. Zther is like High School where they have a group of friends, "senior management", that don't promote growth for the design/development teams. It is a place where the "ACD" and "Programming Manager" run the place and take full advantage of it. Designers and Programmers don't have a voice and there's no real HR department or even a suggestion box!!! I guess they don't want to hear what everyone has to say or they receive information through a Senior level staff member.

Pros

Flexible scheduling with my school schedule and great pay. Cool and relaxed workplace with all the snacks you'd need and plenty of fun things at the office to distract yourself with. Management is very helpful and easy to talk to. Had a lot of opportunities to learn new things and better my skills. Great place to work and grow.

Kontras

Logging in my own hours and communicating through email can be annoying at times but you get used to it.

Pros

The only thing positive about the company is that they have good clients to work with. Also there is no dress code.

The company promises a lot more than it offers. I joined the company thinking ill learn a lot since its a start up and their work looked impressive. But internally the company is not organized. Technically they just know flash/ actionscript. They are not flexible on how the code can be written. It has to be always written and structured the way the manager feels its right. So if you want to experiment and learn the best way to do things then this is not the place for you. The company is full of work politics and the managers are never available and able to help the developers unless you are their friend outside of work. The promotions are not based on your skill rather its based on how well you know your manager.
