Pros

Remote first? Other than that, didn’t work there long enough to see the pros other than two months of severance (longer than I had worked there lol).

Kontras

Sales were declining for 6 quarters in a row when I joined (graph was hilarious)! Red flag #1. I was hired and laid off within the first month. I was directly hired by people who are financially savvy and make strategic decisions for the company. Another red flag was that my manager was on vacation when this decision was made (boss made the call) and looked extremely upset when he had to break the news. Very awkward disorganized!

Pros

The company culture is genuinely people first. Flexible time off is encouraged and respected, we have a company-wide holiday slow down to recharge, and remote work is not just allowed, it’s supported. There’s a real sense of trust and autonomy, which makes it easy to bring your best self to work. On the work side, we’re solving exciting, complex problems that have a real impact, and there’s a lot of room to grow. If you’re someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys being part of shaping how things get done, it’s a great fit.

Kontras

It’s a startup, which means we’re still building the plane while flying it. That can come with some disorganization, shifting priorities, and the kind of growing pains that are pretty standard in early-stage companies. But leadership is transparent, and there’s a clear commitment to improvement.

Pros

Remote and Unlimited PTO are nice, but that’s about it

Kontras

GTM strategy changing every five seconds , 6 quarters of declining sales, poor communication, and those at the tops don’t have any idea what really goes on.
