The reason I left was because I could not think of a good reason to stay.

I worked there when the office was new and the tech support staff was being populated with non-technical people. The owner was an authoritarian who had no problem insulting his adult children in front of their employees. New hires were hired two at a time and since one of the two new hires would end up leaving very soon, we all joked that it was a Noah's arc hiring process. The saddest thing was the culture. Employees were forced to "testify" about how much they liked working at Yapi and what they loved about the software - which everyone did, going on and on about how awesome a company it was - yet when we would leave work, everyone was either talking about how much they disliked working there or how much they disliked their colleagues. Supposedly they tried to change the culture, but it doesn't seem like after reading some of the reviews of their more recent employees.

Relatively easy, was WFH when I was there, and my teammembers were great.

Leadership only cares about numbers because the company was, and probably still is, failing. There is not a single ounce of care for their employees. If you're working here, just know you're a part of their system and that's about it. They'll drop you as soon as you complete your task, or as soon as they find someone to do it at a cheaper cost. Tons of empty promises, and that's about it. My recommendation is to go in, do your job, and please do the absolute minimum to get by because there is no upward mobility, and when you exceed expectations, they'll thank you as they're walking you out the door.
