8yThank you for your feedback. I am sorry you feel there are limited development opportunities in WF. As a business, we invest in our staff and view development, both horizontal and vertical, an essential part of their growth with WF. It has always been one of our key initiatives to support our people to ensure we develop great leaders. We encourage all employees to have a Personal Development Plan so your manager could understand and provide support on your career growth and direction. We have had many successful internal promotions within our WF HK office but like all good businesses, there are times we require to bring in external expertise to ensure we equip ourselves with new skills, ideas and fresh perspectives.

WF does not take the view “People” lightly, as you might have noticed we are constantly collecting and reviewing staff feedback through various channels such as engagement survey, town halls, employee forums and 1-on-1 discussions, to understand from staff perspective on the gap we need to improve on and how we could improve collaboratively as one team.
In response to your view on repetitive tasks, the business in 2H2017 will increase its focus on initiatives that improve existing processes. You will often hear the term “Acquire Better Process Better” – initiatives that will improve our systems and processes as a core part of our strategy in becoming a scalable and efficient business.
