Pros
Great people to work with, everyone truly seemed to enjoy their job and treated you like an actual person vs a number. Also had a pension and company stock share program.
Kontras
Product was lacking at the time in features vs many of the large competitors we came up against regularly. New feature and product rollouts were delayed time after time which can result in embarrassment for sales reps. Company was bought out at the end of my tenure by a larger manufacturing company. Not much growth opportunity, really nowhere to go as the company wasn't adding positions nor had much mid level management. As a sales rep you reported directly to the VP, who reported directly to the CEO. The current CEO was the CFO when I was there so I'm not sure how she runs the company however I would imagine she got the job because she's better at "managing money" aka pinching pennies. I can't imagine the place has became a better place to work nor that they have made any comp plan or benefit changes that have actually benefited the employees outside of C-Level.
