Not many pros for the business.

* Senior management not willing to welcome innovation or new ways of working (despite processes/programs being old and outdated/events not making the money they should be) * Lack of training / culture of teaching within the team. Everyone so overworked and short staffed that there's no room for teaching, which is very clear in those in analytical roles where previous knowledge is expected/required. Lots of mistakes made on analytical side of business yet no training offered to help these colleagues better themselves. * Biased management, favouring ideas of those they like over those that make practical sense for the business. * Chaotic ways of working. Hardly any solid processes in place. * Due to high levels of turn over only 1 colleague has sound knowledge of the core programs being used, therefore if something goes wrong with it there is an onaslaught of requests to that person, creating a bottleneck effect. * Attitutude of 'we've always done it this way', with outdated ideas and no budging on them. * An archaic hierarchy where those with no knowledge on marketing would make marketing decisions, causing ill advised paths to be taken. * Huge workloads, short ldeadlines (this is the way of events but this is particularly true here). * Lack of synchronisation between neighbouring teams: sales, ops and marketing always at odds with one another. Seems like these problems are long embedded. * Belligerent colleagues whose behaviour was overlooked/ignored despite multiple complaints, as they were an essential team member. * Under staffing, only 1 member in raphics/art department - again creating a bottle neck.
