By keeping staffing tight, the firm is able to avoid lay-offs when work gets slow. Employment is stable. If you're the type that just wants to come to work, work furiously on quality buildings, and then go home, this is a good place for you.

Firm size capped at 40-50 people does not provide obvious opportunities for long term advancement. Firm can feel understaffed and people often do not feel like they own their evenings as it's not uncommon to be asked at 6pm to complete work for the morning. Can be stressful for parents. If you're looking for a fun, social workplace, that is involved in the community, this is not the place for you.
