7yThere's a lot to address in the review. Let's start at the beginning. I have built a lot of structure in the agency and continue to add more all the time. We have time sheets, work is allocated based on hours retained by clients, and I can't think of a single instance that I have run the company by emotion, though I do care very much for our employees. I have always believed that adding a second office in our top feeder market has been beneficial to clients. Aside from wanting to let every client know personally, I never hid it and I spend at least one day in Las Vegas every week. With respect to turnover, we have gone through years where we have had close to no turnover, and then will suddenly lose a few employees - but I would say 4/5 employees leave because they either want to grow into a new market like Los Angeles or New York, or they want to leave PR entirely. For someone to have three supervisors in that amount of time is very rare - and I'm sure that made it difficult for you. Bouncing paychecks - that was an isolated incidence four years ago for a couple of employees, who were paid immediately. Our San Diego expansion was costly, and that timing coincided with our largest client falling four months behind. We don't put all of the bios on our website because no agency does. If anyone ever suggested it was "a bad look," it wasn't me. In the final comment - I trust the director of our Las Vegas office very much. The time I spend with Las Vegas employees is as a mentor, not to micromanage them. If you would like to address any of these issues with me, I welcome an email. I also read every exit interview and take all feedback into consideration to help us grow.
