Pros
To work at the scale AngelList operates with such a slim team, there's no room for company ladders, PMs, or middle management. Each engineer is their own PM. You organize your own workflows, make the product decisions, interface directly with the highest value users, manage implementation tradeoffs, and ship code every day towards whatever projects you find most interesting. Every engineer operates like a mini founder More broadly, the perks are generous: great office spaces, top shelf tech, massages, offsites, etc. etc. and the people are intelligent, dynamic, and always willing to take a coffee break walking meeting to Reveille to help (or jump into slack dm's if that's what you prefer) Managers show clear interest in your well-being & career aspirations in and beyond AL
Kontras
Fairly unstructured environment. No one breaks down your days for you. You have to figure out how to get it all done (This is a feature for some, bug for others)
