From day 1, I could tell my manager genuinely cared about my success, and my coworkers were helpful and welcoming. Unlike other companies where I’ve been micro-managed and stressed about work every day, I am actually excited to get started on my projects. I’ve been encouraged to ask questions and provide suggestions, which really makes me feel vested and even more motivated to work hard and know I’ll be rewarded for doing so. Like any growing company, you sometimes have to switch gears quickly and wear different hats, but I’ve personally seen this as a great way to pick up new skills, so not really a con to me but can be for others.
