Pros

You get food. Some benefits.

Kontras

They will use you until you quit or they fire you. They state in job listings that you'll be a tech. Which is a joke because they have what we call "Golden Boys". These employees basically just boost the ego of the CEO and current management. Heavily influenced by favoritism. Once you make a simple mistake being a "tech" they put you on warehouse work. Any disagreements with management will put you on their hit list. (Yes, they will literally target you, and make your life a living hell until you quit or they fire you.) Raises and promotions are a myth. Several times I was told there would be some sort of 6th month reviews but it seemed to be too hard for the current management to handle. Pray you don't have medical issues because they will use that against you as-well. This may just seem like a disgruntled employee writing this out, but you have to understand. I have never worked somewhere that is so toxic. Regardless of how well you think it's going management and the CEO will talk crap about you behind your back to your fellow co-workers. Then afterwards they turn face and talk crap to you about your other co-workers. If you're looking for an entry level I.T. job please, I'm begging you, don't make the same mistake I made and keep looking. Don't waste years of your life putting money into these guys pockets while they underpay you. You'll look back on this review and realize you dodged a huge bullet.

Pros

The Most Enjoyable Part of the Job Hands down, the people make this place special. Some of my colleagues feel more like extended family than mere coworkers. And then there's the geek factor I can't get enough of it. Working at WebNX has exposed me to cutting edge technology on a regular basis. From tinkering with physical hardware to deploying complex cloud/cluster solutions, there's never a dull moment. You're always learning, always growing, and always pushing your own boundaries. The variety of challenges that come our way means I'm never bored and that's how I like it. Management as Family When people ask what our management is like, I often tell them: "They're like family minus the awkward Thanksgiving drama." The owner has been one of the most approachable, warm, and knowledgeable leaders I've ever met, and I've come to view him not just as a boss, but as a mentor and friend. It's rare to find a company owner who genuinely makes time to teach you new skills or hears you out when you have concerns or wild ideas. Yet, that's exactly the environment we have here. I've never felt like I couldn't speak my mind in a meeting or toss a radical concept out on the table. In fact, management seems to thrive on innovation and loves when team members bring fresh perspectives. They're quick to offer support whenever projects run into roadblocks, and they celebrate successes both big and small with real enthusiasm. The biggest takeaway for me is that management believes in trusting employees with the freedom and responsibility to do their best work. If you show initiative here, you'll likely find yourself with plenty of autonomy to make your mark. It's incredible to look back and see how far I've come since my early days here. Over time, I dived into everything from hardware and networking to security protocols and development. And because WebNX handles a wide variety of client needs being a large datacenter operation across multiple geographic locations, I got the chance to explore countless facets of technology, the company promotes education and provides us with personal servers and this allows tons of self growth and learning opportunities. Above all, I've gained the confidence to attempt truly innovative solutions there's something immensely satisfying about taking a complex business problem, rolling up your sleeves, and crafting a creative, efficient fix that makes everyone's life easier.

The Hardest Part of the Job: Not everything is easy all the time. For the most part, the daily operations are smooth sailing thanks to robust knowledge, leadership, and processes, collaborative teams, and clear communication channels. But when disaster strikes, it can be intense. These moments, while rare, demand a lot of adaptability. That's when I'm reminded of just how deeply I care about this company's success. Because, yes, the hardest part of the job is the unpredictability of emergencies, but it's also one of the most rewarding you get to see firsthand how your skill, resilience, and teamwork can carry you through a crisis.
