They offer an apprentice schooling program with local unions. Open door policy for everyone, including CEO and presidents. Free lunches on Fridays.

Little direction and support from upper level management. Higher ups like to micro-manage staff to pinch pennies instead of investing time on critical processes. Because there is so much opportunity, there are not a lot of standards within the company, so templates and processes can have multiple styles which result in workflow confusion.
