- There WAS a strong sales team with a good culture, quickly undone by incompetence from the CEO and COO

- To put it bluntly the business is a sinking ship. They're facing significant challenges, particularly due to ongoing changes and added complexity to a product that is already struggling to compete effectively with alternatives in the market. This is reflected in a consistently high level of customer churn, which was rarely acknowledged, and in fact made out to be non-existent by the COO - Leadership within client success (COO) is a major problem within the business (both in her department and across the wider business). From a professional standpoint, there were clear gaps in strategic direction, communication, and execution, which clearly contributed to the high level of customer dissatisfaction and churn. There was a noticeable disparity in how individuals were treated, which had a negative impact on morale and performance, and this persons decision making as a whole is clearly incredibly detrimental to the business and it's future prospects, which look bleak. - The CEO is clearly a very intelligent individual, and you can only commend him on building a complex business from the ground up on his own. However, without working incredibly closely w him, it was very clear that he takes a subhuman approach to managing his employees, and if they disagree with any form of approach he takes (in a department he doesn't understand), their days are numbered.

Amazing technology. Some of the things we sell no other company can do. A genuine differentiator in the market. Amazing opportunity, worldwide remit. Lots of money can be made. The owners are genuinely nice and care about employees. Work hard and you'll be rewarded. Simple as that. Nice colleagues too.

Lots of opportunity, don't think we fully know how to capitalise on it all, but that's often natural with an SME, in particular when you're up against other players in the market who are much bigger.
