Pros
Bonus program is pretty good if you get hired on at the right level. Lots of very bright people from all over the world work at WD. It is culturally very diverse which is neat. There is a lot of focus on goal setting and staying on the path.
Kontras
Stressful environment. There is not much of a team feel to the company culture. Management is quick to criticize which makes people scramble to respond to their demands. For instance they may complain that its been X days since the problem was discovered and ask why is it still not fixed. This culture results in lots of work getting done in a short amount of time, at the expense of plenty of overtime and high blood pressure. Benefits drop a little every year, I guess this is happening everywhere.
