My experience at Visionet highlighted serious issues with leadership transparency and employee empowerment. Decision-making is highly centralized, and many capable employees in India are primarily used for business development or support roles while key delivery ownership and client interactions are controlled elsewhere. Opportunities for direct client engagement are often limited, with additional layers inserted into communication. While the company projects a strong global image, the internal culture can feel political and uneven in terms of trust and opportunity. For a global services organization, there is significant room to improve transparency, empower local talent, and align internal practices with the values it promotes externally.
