- VPS’s products and concepts are bringing a paradigm change in the way power infrastructure operates in a Data Center. The thought of using battery power in the datacenter, in the same manner as a Hybrid Car uses battery, is so attractive that it attracts investors and thought leaders and customers. - The value proposition of freeing 50%+ power capacity in a data center is so compelling that it immediately attracts large data centers to do pilot and be part of this phenomenon. - CEO infuses energy of innovation in the company and with customers / partners. He is not technical and doesn’t claim to be, but believes in setting a fast and disciplined pace of innovation.

- Bringing paradigm change in a regulated industry is hard. This frustrates some employees, as many large customers tend to hit a pause awaiting to see large scale deployments. Company is poised to get some great deployments and partner agreements, with the recently released, GA ready Products. I am confident that once we cross the chasm of early deployments, the company is setup for a very bright future. - Fast pace of innovation and CEO demanding all round excellence are, in my opinion, required for a startup and a disruptive technology to be successful in the market. This does not bode well with some employees. I have also seen former disgruntled employees show frustration and thrash company and CEO on this account. Issue is that the company culture and high pace of innovation does not suit many employees. - Every data center topology is different and require different value vectors and hence variations in implementations. This puts stress and requires innovation even at the time of customer pilots and design. Again a point of stress for employees.
