Where do I start: 1) Ownership/management is the founder's family and the corporate rules set for employees do not extend to the family members who are also employed by the business; 2) Lack of support for continuing education and technical growth (they do have a policy, but the decisions are made by non-technical staff/managers who have no understanding of staying abreast with the constantly changing world of technology and innovation); 3) Non technical staff managing technical staff and making technical decisions irrespective of technical staff's knowledge and experience.
