Company culture is great, fully remote although they do a good job at organizing in-person company events. Clients are in various different industries, allowing for great exposure to different use cases. Gradual and responsible growth goals and strategies as a whole.

Being a smaller firm, challenges come with the slower seasons. A lot of pressure to get billable hours in. However that’s not specific to VTG.

People are really great to work with. The culture is big to them and it shows. If you are on the quiet side, you might not fit in since it can be a little cliché-y at times, but always speak up because they are great people and always willing to chat. Most people are willing to help on projects and there are some super smart people who work here as helpful resources.

Salaries are less than industry average, and the quarterly bonus is directly tied to how much you work, (performance is not a factor), which does create a toxic environment. And you can only work as much as your manager can provide, so if things are slow, it cuts into any PTO you can take as well your bonus. Billable hours are higher than any other company I've been at, so to get in all the work, having fun or collaborate with others, and internal meetings, you will be working more than 40 hours a week most of the time.
