      Pros

      Compensation, benefits, and the perks are awesome. Venable has a very competitive package that makes it very attractive to join the firm. - Los Angeles office has a gym! - You can meet some nice people here.

      This is a large firm that is compromised of other small firms that have been acquired by Venable. Cliques have been naturally formed based on previous firm association. - ”Some” attorneys can be rude, moody, not friendly to work with. - Los Angeles management has a tendency to lean/side with a complaining attorney rather than support staff . - High turnover - Work environment can be draining at times. You take the good with the bad.

      The other attorneys and staff are great. The New York office was recently renovated and is amazing.

      Pros

      Office culture is inclusive and friendly. Salary is somewhat competitive for staff. Bonuses are not generous. Benefits are average. Most attorneys are great to work with, but there are some of difficult attorneys that can make one’s life miserable. LAAs handle lot of billing responsibilities. Overall, a good place to work if you don’t mind the above.
