Let’s start with the Sri Lankan leadership team. They talk a lot, act like experts, but honestly have no idea what they’re doing. Their experience? Mostly from jobs that have nothing to do with tech or startups. But don’t worry they make up for it with big egos and bad decisions. Projects fail, nothing moves forward, but somehow they still act like geniuses. And you can see incompetent idiots tear everything down and live in a mess. And now there are new leaders too even worse. One of them leads by yelling at everyone like it’s a management style. Zero knowledge, no emotional intelligence, but a huge ego. It’s like being managed by a walking HR violation. These people aren’t interested in real work. They just want to look busy for the founders and dump all the pressure on the team below. It’s all fake hustle, bad politics, and a toxic environment. And the worst part? Their politics are personal. If you speak up or leave the company, they won’t forget. They’ll go out of their way to take revenge even though you leave the company. It’s that petty. If you’re thinking about working at Velou Sri Lanka, here’s my advice: Don’t. Just run. It’s one of the worst leadership teams in the industry, and it will drain your energy, motivation, and brain.
