I am truly sorry you feel this way and I have clearly let you down whilst working at VU.CITY. I fully respect your opinion, but would hope that the work we continue to do to articulate and demonstrate the great potential of the company is now much more obvious since you left.

The best opportunities for career progression come from a growing business. I believe that we have everything now in place for this to happen on a major scale. With the new platform, our much clearer vision and the funding to support expansion, we are at an exciting crossroads. Also worth noting that our commission structure has no upper end, so if you are smashing your targets the rewards can be significant.

Pros

- Nice office - Great team of people personality-wise - The tech and modeling team is made up of some real heavy hitters, who help make the product what it is -An amazing account management team who go above and beyond - Competitive salary - Interesting platform with lots pf room to grow. - Good HR team, very helpful

Kontras

- Redundancies have happened in the last couple of years more than I would have expected, with no one being safe regardless of performance or time spent at VU, - Expect probation periods to last possibly up to 6 months, a big change from the usual 3 from when I first started. - The sales team seems to rely on inflated KPIs to look busy for the board without any sort of structure or real analysis of outcomes to improve processes and drive growth in new business. - Slightly strange and archaic HR processes around remote work, such as hearing stories about not being allowed to work remotely abroad. - No real progression plan for career development, you're just chucked in the deep end. You don't get much useful honest feedback.

Some really useful pointers for us to improve on here, although I would say that there are 2 sides to some of your points. But if they are your perception then I have to respect that. Regarding redundancies, as I am sure you are aware, it is the role that is made redundant and not the individual and therefore it is hard to take into account performance or time spent when going through this process, but where there was a group redundancy then elements of this were considered. And I hope we never have to do any more redundancies, it is never a good time, but some times it is required for the future of the business and those that remain.
