Pros

The product has real potential, and there are capable people here who want to do good work. That’s what initially makes the company appealing.

Kontras

This place is extremely unorganized, and it shows immediately. I joined a team that was positioned as high-impact, but in practice it feels under-supported and treated like a side function rather than a core. Day to day, it’s unclear whose direction matters. Input comes from all directions, priorities constantly shift, and focus changes with no clear outcome. When the team lead has little room to move, it’s obvious there’s no real path for growth for anyone else either. The experience is frustrating and draining. Even in structured environments with multiple commanders, there’s a clear chain of command so work gets done. Here, large meetings feel pointless. There’s no clear mission, no measurable results, just a lot of talk about optics instead of outcomes. If you want to put your head down and get real work done, this culture will be tough. The environment is messy and political, and for mid-level and junior employees especially, it’s hard to see a clear future here.

Pros

VB Cosmetics/Dazzle Dry is a great place to work. They offer competitive wages and benefits; the best part is the company culture. The people I work with are kind and inclusive. Management and HR are fantastic. I'm proud to work for a company that gives back to its community.

Kontras

There are no cons to working at Dazzle Dry.

Pros

The founders are well-intentioned and deeply invested in both the business and its people.

Kontras

While the organization continues to evolve, career progression and personnel decisions can appear heavily influenced by internal relationships and organizational politics. Long-standing employees and established influence networks often seem to carry disproportionate weight in key decisions, creating inconsistency in how performance, contributions, and talent are evaluated. This may lead to concerns around transparency, fairness, and equal opportunity for employees who are not part of established internal circles.
