Pros
Great job satisfaction. You really get to work on programs that can truly make a difference for the American people. A sense of pride is the best way to describe what you are in for when you accomplish what you need to for the Air Force.
Kontras
It is just an absolutely gigantic bureaucracy. Your bosses will probably be so set on maintaining their "piece of the pie" that you will be very very frustrated. Another downside is the waste. When you hear about the government spending 10000 dollars on a toilet seat...well its not that bad, but its definitely not good
