Pros

My time at TMP was spent working with exceptional talent. The team was always diligent and had no issues going the extra mile for a better product. They supported each other well and did amazing work for very large companies. Pay was decent but not great. It's almost surreal how this company hires such exceptional talent and lands huge clients to put on your resume.

Management fails to receive criticism and listen to their employees, processes are torn down and replaced frequently due to high employee turnover, there is a lack of trust from management, and in my time there I was even insulted by management when it was unexpected. It was not uncommon to hear curse words flying from the office of management as someone was being yelled at. Transparency on employee performance and overall company performance are minimal at best. There is no real room for growth or advancement. Benefits as a whole were pretty bad. Stretch it further they work you to the bone with little opportunity for paid time off.

Sorry you had a bad experience here. We strive to not make that the case. We will be open and honest about some mistakes were made yes. However, we have made a ton of changes to the company over the past two years and have flipped our leadership so this should no longer be an issue for anyone. It is still a work in progress and we will never be perfect but we are committed to our people and constantly getting better and improving our culture.

Pros

Initially, the team was dynamic and talented, offering a collaborative and vibrant work environment. Brought in many young, ambitious professionals, who brought fresh energy and new ideas to the table. There was a period of immense potential and opportunity for growth and innovation within the agency. Offered a unique opportunity to collaborate with a highly diverse team. I had the privilege of working alongside some great individuals from various backgrounds.

The company suffered from high turnover, with over 20+ employees leaving within my 1.5-year tenure, more than I witnessed in three years in a warehouse environment. Key managerial positions were vacated and not effectively replaced, leading to a loss of direction and client retention issues. Decisions made by upper management and the parent company showed a lack of understanding of the challenges faced, exacerbating existing problems. Unrealistic expectations and goals set by management slowly eroded the initially strong team spirit and cohesion. Employee dedication was not acknowledged or rewarded appropriately, as seen in the timing of layoffs The practice of hiring young professionals with the promise of career advancement, only to let them go shortly after, was both unethical and damaging to the team's morale and the company’ reputation.
