The co-workers I have met and started out with made the day somewhat better. Also if you looking to make some quick cash.

I have looked at many reviews online to get an idea on how I properly wanted to go about writing this because I do have so much to say about my time here so here it goes: - The work life balance was terrible starting at 12:30pm might sound great but getting out late was not ideal at all and they were strict about not allowing us to come in at 9am just to get a head start and leave earlier. - Daily quotas - Management, there are people who only been there for 2 months and they are already captains, ridiculous. - "Team Meetings" were an absolute joke. We literally had a meeting where we listened to music for an hour. Real productive. - Also nepotism was a real problem.So a bit background on myself I worked at Trinity Solar in July to September 2019, I had a hard time with calls because I was a bit nervous so they made me shadow a person who was one of the top sales people there. She literally skipped over parts of the script and no one said a word to her. I followed her lead and did the same thing she did and for some reason I got in trouble but not her. Seriously how pathetic, - The sales representatives were the worse they are rude and unprofessionals and downright bullies. - Also biggest pet peeve about this place is that they try to act like its anything but telemarketing, they try to make it like people are just dying to get solar when 95% of the people we're making appointments with don't even want the appointment, they are just doing it to the get the salesperson off their lawn. I believe in solar but being a private company is just poor way of doing it, go public, commercialize solar that's how you'll get real customers not these fake appointments people make and then cancel an hour later. - One more thing I see reviews from this place and they can say its not true all they want but its so clear that half of these reviews are fake.

Pros

Great people, caring upper management, fun meetings, good coworkers, great work environment, uncapped commission potential, base salary, full health, dental, vision, variety of optional insurances, 401k with large company match, actually helping people save money, helping the planet.

Kontras

Inter-department communication, slow company-wide decision making, bad apples have forced upper management to make decisions that feel like tight leash on entry level reps.

There used to be more positive to working here but under the new CEO they have taken everything away from their long standing employees.

One of the biggest issues is pay. Employees who have been here for years who know the job inside and out are often making the same as (or less than) brand new hires who are just coming in with little to no experience. It’s frustrating and honestly pretty discouraging when your time, effort, and knowledge don’t seem to be valued. It also feels like the teams doing the bulk of the day-to-day work and making sure everything runs smoothly aren’t compensated fairly for the workload they carry. Raises and improvements to benefits are limited, even for those who consistently go above and beyond. At the same time, there’s a clear difference in how departments are treated. Sales teams are rewarded with trips, events, and strong financial incentives, while internal teams, who play a huge role in actually driving success for this company, don’t see the same level of recognition or pay. It creates a pretty big disconnect. What makes it harder is that the company promotes a very positive, upbeat culture, but that doesn’t always match the reality employees experience day to day. Over time, this discourages a lot of employees from wanting to remain here.
