The local office personnel worked well together to accomplish all aspects of the company business, and we all got along well personally. There was a lot of respect, admiration and support for each others abilities and performance.

Corporate management put up many roadblocks to successful completion to the projects of the local offices. Vendors put the company on credit hold due to late payments, which meant parts were not available when needed for installation. This caused many problems with customers due to missed deadlines as well as a poor reputation. Also, corporate assistance that was promised and assured when projects were being bid, was not available when needed. This put additional strain on the limited resources of the local office. All engineering staff, with the exception of a couple of managers, from the local offices was laid off and the work transferred to the corporate office. This caused a delay in design work being completed on time as well a reduction in accuracy and more revisions required.
