- Fully remote - Realistic expectations of work from direct management with the amount of systems requiring support and level of compensation - Goal is to sell which will pay out decent retention packages

Kontras

- No real career growth possible - Super old codebase with no real refactoring in sight and an ancient tech stack - Upper management focuses on "the next best thing" and ignores "legacy" products that are still responsible for a lot of revenue and detection - Upper management doesn't delve into the technology or supporting groups, leaving it all kind of silo'd, unorganized, and not really moving anywhere

Some great people with collaboration.

Kontras

Constant leadership changes and layoffs. Communication from leadership very inconsistent. Very metric vs people minded. They layoff people on paternity leave. Layoff people to hire new people at a lower pay rate. Metrics are unattainable due to technology not being ready, bad reputation in the industry, customer support lacking.
