Pros
There are a lot of pros at Transmit-- the intelligence and quality of people is top tier, especially on the product and engineering side. The product team is stellar, with a deep understanding of the identity space and a strong focus on building and developing exciting technology. And compensation is great-- with that comes the expectation to be a hard worker and high performer.
Most broadly, it feels like you're surrounded by A+ talent across every function. Transmit is kind of environment where people are sharp, driven, and take pride in doing high-quality work, which makes for highly motivating energy and culture.
The company also embraces innovation—there’s openness to exploring AI, and new tools to work smarter, not just harder. On top of that, the ability to work virtually without feeling disconnected is a huge benefit. My management has always been understanding with hours especially when it comes to family. As long as you're doing your work well and on time, you will have flexibility.
If you’re someone who thrives around smart people, works hard, and wants to build and support cutting-edge technology, Transmit is the place to be.
Kontras
There’s been some leadership change, which can create a bit of uncertainty at times. The pace is fast and expectations are high, so it helps to be a self-starter who doesn’t need a lot of hand-holding. Hours can occasionally stretch long depending on what’s going on.
Company culture isn’t a major focus, and communication across teams isn’t always as strong or consistent as it could be. That said, if you're someone who’s proactive, adaptable, and focused on doing great work, none of these things should be your dealbreakers.
