      Pros

      I was with Transect for over 2.5 years and was promoted once during this tenure into a larger role. I was given every resource available to complete my job. Also, the software almost sells itself - it is well-made and fits the target market. The culture is simple: don't be a jerk! Management has done an excellent job abiding by this by removing those who don't fall into that culture regardless of position or title.

      Pros

      Excellent people working hard on a worthwhile cause accelerating the energy transition. A strong culture of coaching and mentoring. Company values are used multiple times weekly to give kudos to those living and breathing the culture. Opportunities and promotions are given to those who contribute.

      Nothing beyond the regular start-up stuff of iteration and improvement.

      - super collaborative and friendly - interested in new ideas from any dept - moves relatively quickly with product enhancements

      - micro-managerial with key aspects of the job - leadership can be indecisive at times - it's a start up so you would have to be comfortable with frequent changes to processes
