Pros
- Not "too bad" salary for recent graduates in Barcelona - Good if you have not much on your CV
Kontras
- Crazy stress to the point where you WILL see people crying at their desks. I decided to leave as I couldn't listen to people moan anymore about how depressed they were & I had had enough. - Training is non existent. - Long, long hours that are not compensated for (12 hour days). They tell you they will give you the hours back but have rules like 1 in a team off at once and you only deserve a day off if you are reaching goals that very few reach. - Management are useless, intimidating and run the department through fear with a discipline system in place called CAFs. If you make a mistake on a project you will have to explain what went wrong and be bullied into accepting responsibility even if the project was bad due to very low budget and only being able to pay rubbish linguists. - Do not value staff at all. - HR is frightened of management and do not do the job they are supposed to. The Barcelona office ran illegally without a union for over a year until it was forced to have one. It now consists of several senior people and the mailing list goes directly to the director. To summarize, only work here if you have nothing else & need experience - but keep looking, you can do better, I'm sure!
