Pros
- Base salary is fair, commission is competitive. Can make an eye-popping amount of money if you're lucky. - Friendly coworkers, generally people there are really helpful - Culture is good if you're extremely money-motivated and willing to give up your work/life balance for cash. If The Wolf of Wall Street is your favorite movie, this is the place for you
Kontras
- hours are 7-5 in office M-F, if you're not in your seat working by 7, you're required to send an email to HR saying that you're late so they can keep it on file. You'll be told to sit back down if you try to leave at 4:59. CEO will also message at all hours of the day and expect a response - Constant micromanagement, made to feel as though you're in school and the Principal is sitting over your shoulder - Very clear favoritism towards the brokers that bring in the most money, smaller brokers receive much less attention/support from management. Big brokers have a completely different set of rules than everyone else. - Insanely high turnover, seemed like people were getting fired/leaving on a weekly basis. - Accounting department is a mess, constant issues with carriers not getting paid. These issues usually take a while to get resolved - Culture is absolutely terrible. General employee morale is at rock bottom. You can feel how badly most of the people don't want to be there. Toxic boys club mentality, you won't get the time of day unless you're fully bought into the "grindset". Not a place to work if you value work/life balance at all
