The company operates using sweepstakes-based lead generation campaigns promoted on social media. These campaigns promise users prizes such as iPhones, gift cards, or vacation packages in exchange for their personal data. In reality, there is no transparent or fair prize allocation system—users are misled, and no real winners are ever announced or rewarded. This is a deceptive and ethically questionable business model.
After enduring a long and intense selection process of over six interviews, I left a stable job of 4 years to join the company with the promise of leading a team as Media Buyer Team Lead. I was dismissed on my third day, without ever having a chance to meet or manage my team. The onboarding was rushed (one session reduced from six hours to two), and when I requested a Q&A session to clarify tools and processes before diving in, I was told I was “not a good fit for management.”
As an act of good faith and respect, I explained that I had left a stable career behind, that I had invested everything into this opportunity, and kindly asked whether I could be compensated at least for the month. Their response was to suggest I apply for unemployment benefits (UWV in the Netherlands). It was not only dismissive but deeply disrespectful and disheartening.
Work-life balance is non-existent. From the beginning, I was told the role required full availability during nights and weekends, with the expectation of monitoring and adjusting campaigns 24/7. There is no boundary between work and personal life, and the internal pressure is enormous. On top of this, the company suffers from extremely high turnover, with multiple employees reportedly leaving or being replaced every few weeks.
