Pros

Top notch sales trading. The same trading education sold to students we get & learn for free. I've personally known several people that work/worked here that now trade or at least trade before/after work. The instructors here are some of the top talent in the trading industry and frequently appear on Bloomberg, CNBC, Fox Business, etc. Exciting industry. Since I've worked here... Larry has taken the ENTIRE office (flight, hotel, dinner, cabana & bottle service) to Vegas, Miami and Fort Lauderdale for the weekend. Good money if you work hard, employ their sales strategies and not a piker. They're opening additional offices nationwide and there's great opportunity for growth.

Kontras

You have to work your ass off. With high income, comes high accountability and responsibility to deliver on your numbers and goals. This does add to pressure and stress if your performance is less than on goal. Some people can't handle this kind of stress and the pressure to perform. Usually have to work the last Saturday of the month to squeeze out that sales month. You need to love being on the phone and dial. It can get monotonous at times, but the commissions are worth it. Like any sales job... there's high months and low months. People come & go, but it is not for everyone. For those with the desire, talent, and drive to succeed, the pros greatly outweigh all of the cons.

Pros

The product is strong, and they are open to hiring people with no financial background. Compensation is there if you are a good closer.

Kontras

Termination policy is inconsistent, especially if your new. Having a bad month at the wrong time can cost you your job, and you might receive little to no warning, verbal or written, to indicate your standing. When asked directly, management can be evasive rather than giving a direct answer. Performance reviews are almost non existent, though this may depend on the manager you are working with. Additionally, the departments (options, futures, stocks) are not equally lucrative, as can be seen by comparing the number of sales reps in each. The larger departments (options and futures) have a higher demand, with a larger number of leads specific for there product existing in the data base. Stocks often requires an additional step in the sales process, convincing a customer that they should change there desired method of trading, but if the customer does not have between $15-$20k to trade with, there is no point in the first place.
