Pros
I’ve been here for several years and have seen the company go through a lot of changes — some good, some painful. The most recent shift came with leadership changes at the top, which I think is where a lot of the recent negative reviews are coming from.
Our previous CEO had a big personality — charismatic, high-energy, very visible. That created a culture where people felt emotionally pulled in.
Boogie, by contrast, is more measured and focused — not the kind of guy to give motivational speeches, but I can tell he’s thoughtful and strategic.
He seems genuinely invested in getting to know the team, and I’ve appreciated the opportunities he’s created to connect.
His personality seems very direct, and he moves fast. If you bring something up, he’ll expect you to back it up or take action on it — and he’s not afraid to ask tough questions. Maybe that can come off to some people as "belittling" or "harsh", but I don’t think that’s the intent and that's not how it feels to me.
Kontras
- Clear career growth paths.
- Engineering teams can feel a bit siloed, which limits collaboration.
