I love direct feedback and challenges coming from my manager makes me find new limits and versions of me I didn't think I could attain.

Everyone other than the CEO and CTO are nice because they deliberately hire people that won't talk back.

This is the worst company to ever work for. Everything depends on the CEO's mood and just because you don't work closely under her, don't think you can escape. If a small thing goes wrong they are always quick to blame you even if it is not your fault without understanding the full picture. If you try to explain yourself they will fire back even harder or even fire you (i've seen this happen numerous times). Smart, hard working people are always fired randomly without any notice when they need to cut cost. You will be under constant anxiety. Do yourself a favor and don't join even if you are desperate.
