Pros

Lots of opportunities to network and meet new people. Good software system to offer clients with wide-ranging client base although whether a Microsoft-only system will stand the test of time in an era of rapid technological expansion and the rise of giants Apple and Google in the industry remains to be seen. Pays quite. Permanent members of staff and CEO very nice and a pleasure to work with.

Few employee benefits, low wage increases and no staff bonus despite bullish outlook for the company constantly celebrated in round-robin emails - family keep the money for themselves. No employee support, HR procedures and policies or indeed a proper HR department; just one person who is also the Financial Controller. Company reserve the right in the employee contract to dismiss without warning and without giving a reason (which is illegal). Line managers lack support from senior management. Lack of knowledge across the company with regard to the system due to high turnover on projects requiring development. Grievances not thoroughly investigated. Levels of nepotism high. No how-to documentation for clients.
