Pros
The lunch and learns and quarterly events were cool
Kontras
Management is clueless. The have no idea how to manage people. They micromanage everything and make you feel like you're less of a person every time they talk to you. All management cares about is money and whether or not your meeting your hours. You better hope you don't get sick or need a vacation because you'll just have to make those hours up when you get back. Even in a global pandemic, when people are losing their jobs, management is making the attorneys call their clients and demand them to pay their bills in full and making them write nonsense "update" letters to clients just so they can increase their billable hours. It's criminal! Salary is terrible. bonuses are terrible. There is no opportunity for growth or advancement with this firm. Working here, you become a cog in a machine and as soon as they break you, your replaced before you can even clean out your desk. The employees voice their concerns and management doesn't care. They don't listen. I do not know one person outside of management that actually likes working here and I know of several people who already have one foot out the door. This firm will not be around much longer bendy all the good people are leaving. Quitting this job was the best decision I ever made and they are about to lose a lot more of their employees if they don't change things. If you seek any kind of work/life balance or you have even a small desire to find joy and fulfillment in the work that your doing, do not, I repeat, DO NOT apply for a job here.
