Management doesn’t know what they’re doing. Everyone wants something different. Internally, managers allow senior associates to get away with lapses. Managers don’t do much as well, just delegates and forgets and hope things get done. If things get done, credit is claimed, if there’s a lapse, it’s never their fault.
