Funplex has a massive team with people your age, constant events, and a chill management. Even the Department Managers are down to Earth people, who you can actually talk to and get to know Free food at least once a week, but if you move like that, it’s basically everyday They do rotations at least every 45m so you’re never stuck somewhere long You can basically choose your own schedule. Once schedules are posted, you can gain or lose as many shifts as you want via the Facebook gc. That’s probably the best feature of this job. Just a really enjoyable place to earn a paycheck for the summer. I’d do it again for sure.

People. Whether good or bad, everything comes down to people. But what can you expect, this is one the largest amusement parks in NJ, and right across the bridge from Philly, so you get some questionable customers. However, I’m sure that’s the same anywhere you go. Just gotta adapt to your environment. Decent learning curve: There are actual procedures you have to learn as a lifeguard because they do test you on proficiency. I’ve only seen a few people fail, they’re never seen again😣.
