If you are looking for a work life balance, you don't get it here. Unless you get yourself a second phone, or turn off yours when you aren't in the office. With the studio being open from 6:30am to 8:30pm, even if you aren't scheduled to do a double, you will more likely than not be bothered outside your scheduled shift regularly. I was also told by my superior after I was given more responsibility, that I would be expected to do overtime weekly and put in more than my Full Time 40hrs a week, but that I would not be compensated additionally for that time.
A large majority of the executive team does not reside in any of the markets the teams are established in. They are regularly being transported via train and plane between their home state and the studio markets that are operated out of. Additionally, for a company that boasts and 'prides' itself on diversity, there is a visible lack of diversity within the executive and hub teams. They like to use the diverse studio teams as the face of their diversity, but the people calling all the shots are not the same.
There is clear favoritism, and unless you just do exactly what you're told and don't complain or speak up for yourself or those around you, it is very unlikely that there will be any opportunity for advancement. If you do voice concerns, through a manager or the anonymous platform, you are labeled as 'difficult to work with'. Feedback for upper management did not ever feel welcomed, it felt more like you were putting a target on your back.
