Work-life balance was fine.

No job security, constant threats of firing for any reason. Pay is low, opportunities for advancement are nonexistent. The company pays a lot of lip service, but does not care about its employees, especially the "lower-level" ones. They will keep you as a temp indefinitely to avoid giving benefits. Management has tried to make people work overtime off the clock in exchange for unpaid leave. Depressing, gray work environment, no recognition for good performance. Turnover is huge, people are constantly quitting. Unresponsive to employee needs. Management openly retaliates against people they do not like. No values or ethics other than the almighty dollar.
