Pros
-The people. I have stayed friends with co-workers long after they left, and after I left. If anything, working at Tekserve will at least widen your circle of friends. Sure, not everyone there is someone i'd share a drink with, but for the most part, everyone at least on the floor at Tekserve is a bit of a nerd/creative obsessive at heart and it's something we all shared.
-Health benefits. I don't know if this still applies, but you are guaranteed at the very least a substantial free basic health care plan. Add-ons/upgrades are extra, of course, but the powers that be believe that an employee's right to free basic healthcare is sacrosanct.
-Indoor bicycle parking is rare and awesome.
Kontras
-Middlemicromanagement. Is that a real word? If not, it should be, and it should be known that Tekserve excels at it.
-Pay rate for technicians is slightly below average, and it is next to impossible to negotiate raises, even after 3 or 4 years.
